CNC Router Operator


  • Experience in machine setup, code editing, manual machining and fixturing is REQUIRED; Not an entry level position

  • Secondary skills such as fabrication, sanding, assembling parts and utilizing shop tools (sanders, grinders, hand routers, various sanding blocks, and measurement equipment [digital calipers, etc.]) are required

  • Calculating requirements including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs

  • Light programming and 5-Axis machining knowledge preferred but not required

  • Available to start work immediately (within 2 weeks). Availability to work 2nd Shift is REQUIRED

  • Physical capability to lift 60+ lbs. and work 8-10 hours on your feet

  • Self-motivated, reliable, organized and be willing to stay late/ work overtime when needed

  • Sound judgment; Able to follow instructions closely with good communication skills, and knows when to ask questions

Job Duties:

  • Set up 3-Axis CNC; setting zero and reference points; tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches

  • Interpret orthographic, technical, architectural & engineering drawings, sketches and blueprints

  • Read work orders/ operation plans; Understand machining parameters, reference points/planes and locations of surfaces

  • Work alongside machinists to learn processes and best practice

  • Assist all other shop departments as needed


  • Salary will depend on experience and knowledge base

  • English is required as well as legal resident documentation; Bilingual is a +

  • Valid WA State Driver’s License with a clean record
